I’ve been trying to do Auntie Em’s market dinner ever since I first heard about it but it always books up SO fast. They don’t really publicize the event, ‘cept on their Web site and to their loyal followers on their email list but it still sells out every time. Fortunately by some stroke of [...]

I've been meaning to get to this truck probably for a year or so, but for some reason I never seem to be around Echo Park after 7 pm when the truck arrives on Alvarado just north of Sunset, next to the Von's parking lot.

If you live in the neighborhood, what a fantastic thing to have so close by. Otherwise, not sure it's worth the trip. There are plenty of other spots of Auntie Em's caliber. Check out the Mustard Seed Cafe on Hillhurst.
