beer pancakes! It was time for a belated Mother's Day brunch, and since I have not one but two little devils, Lucky Devils seemed like the perfect place. I had hoped to combine it with a trip to the Hollywood Farmer's Market or a hike in the hills, but due to the fire and the general laziness of teenagers meant, we just combined it with browsing the wierdness of Hollywood Costumes instead. Lucky Devils has a lot of unreached potential. If it was on Melrose or Santa Monica it would probably thrive. Its Hollywood Blvd location limits the amount of business lunchers and the menu/decor doesn't have enough 'red state appeal' for tourists.

On a rainy Good Friday my friends and I checked out the recently opened Lucky Devil's on Hollywood Blvd. Owned by former Diet Coke model, Lucky Vanous, Lucky Devil's is a chic diner with several micro brews on tap, grilled sandwiches, their signature Kobe burger, and (the now obligatory) cupcakes.
