Christi and I brought along my brother and his girlfriend for dinner at Matsuhisa on La Cienega. She and I opted for the omakase tasting menu, while Melissa and Ray ordered the cod and Chilean seabass, respectively. Accompanying our dinner throughout all of the courses were multiple bottles of unfiltered sake, a milky and grainy drink that was smoother than a lot of sake I've drunk and certainly befitting the mood that evening.
