If you search for ramen in LA, there will be 8 places. I've been to 4 of them and my ranking order so far is: hakata ramen shinsengumi ramenya orochon asahi Ramenya, or Ramen Ya I thought, is a close 2nd. Lots of ramen styles to choose from. Noodle type is good. Flavorful bases. Good portion. Small place. May have to wait a little at busy times. I go often. Oh, take out too.

Ramenya on Olympic

Woke up this morning, craving more Japanese food. Before heading to Mitsuwa, I went to Ramen-ya with Ba-chan and AM. It's a small noodle shop on the West side of LA on Olympic, just west of Sawtelle. A cousin of mine introduced me to this quaint and yummy restaurant several years ago, and I frequent it whenever I want some authentic nihonjin ramen. FULL REVIEW

Finally went out to lunch today! We met up with a friend who's working in a nearby studio in Sawtelle for some Asian food! This place is very famous I heard. Kim-Chee Ramen $6.56 Well...it's excellant I supposed (I never really liked Ramen so ^^;;;) FULL REVIEW
