Sante LaBrea, where I haven't eaten for a million years, so I don't know how badly they needed to be made over, is advertising on Craigslist with the come-on "Sample Ramsay Food." But it's not free or anything, and I doubt Gordon is actually sauteeing the tofu himself. Hope it works out for them! If anyone tries it, write in. At Sante La Brea, Try the Vegan Pizza

The goal of Sante La Brea is not to compromise taste over the absence of dairy and fat. And they do that extremely well, except for the falafel which is just ok because the taste got up and left. Sante is not a purely vegan joint, they serve dishes with chicken, turkey sausage, salmon, ahi tuna, sword fish and whatever the catch of the day may be. For meat eaters or veggies, the pizza served with vegan cheese is a must. Made on a choice of homemade crust or wheat-less spelt crust, it is one of the freshest pizzas we've ever had. And for it being vegan cheese, the issue of it tasting different was very little. Sante is one of those... FULL REVIEW

Sante La Brea

Better publish week-old entry before moving on. We took a long lunch break with a big group of colleagues last Monday. A vegan picked Sante La Brea, a trendy place offers wide range of healthy and vegan dishes. There are so many items on the menu that it was kind of hard to choose what to get. The place has strange purple lighting too, so the pictures is vibrant colorful looking. Greek Salad (mine, so-so) and Blackened Salmon wrap (Preston's, said it's pretty good). FULL REVIEW
