From the day before our all-vegetarian weekend started. Back to that expensive place (for lunch) even though I said unlikely ^^;; I never like cutlet but I just wanted to try since there isn't much choice in their menu (either grilled beef, chicken, fish or cutlet). It was...alright. I also found out that their rice is supposedly special (Komada rice?) but I can't tell much differences. It was cooked a bit more 'raw/hard' for my fast eating lazy-to-chew habit. It became easier to eat after we discovered a well-hidden can of furikake on the table. ^^;; FULL REVIEW

Time to explore more restaurant around my office. Turns out this authentic Japanese restaurant not so 'nearby' (it's right next to the Westside Pavillion) but whatever...^^;; I got the Housemade Tofu, it could have been nicer if the sauce weren't that's too salty. The Grilled Beef set is very flavored, tender, juicy and delicious. The presentation is very nice. Total added up quite expensive...so probably won't come back here often. FULL REVIEW

Torafuku is run by the Four Seeds Corporation of Tokyo and it's a fancy place geared at the expatriate crowd. Choice of Japanese or English menu at the door, shouted salutation from the open kitchen, Calpico water at an outrageous $3 on the drinks menu. P FULL REVIEW
