I heard about the Lobster Festival at the Port of LA this weekend, Sept 15-17 and another Lobster Festival in Redondo Beach next weekend, Sept 22-24. While trying to decide which Lobster Fest to go to, I found that Quality Seafood on the Redondo Beach Pie FULL REVIEW

Redondo Beach’s Quality Seafood reminds me of the seaside fish markets along the coast of Long Island, where I grew up. Dad and I would visit nearby Freeport NY, and stop by the restaurants and fish markets of the mile-long wharf to see fish hauled freshly from the local waters. In today’s world that fresh fish more likely flew across the world and got to the market on a truck, but that’s progress for you. FULL REVIEW

On Sunday we had to escape the 100 degree heat in the SFV and we decided to take a drive out to the coast. We were going to go to Cabrillo Beach and go to the aquarium, but parking is $7. No way, this is LA and free parking is one of the benefits of livin FULL REVIEW
