A new Vietnamese (Japanese owned?) restaurant was opened next to Blue Marlin and I finally tried it because someone told me their simmered pork is supposedly better than this. But I didn't see it on the menu nor it looked like they'd have it!? The menu looked very generic and very simplified-for-American. The mushroom and springroll bun I had looks very Chinese, and the sauce was the disappointing hoi sin sauce...-__- (why not fish sauce?) FULL REVIEW

Phoreign. My first thought was, "god, what a horrible name for a restaurant. There is no way this place is going to last with a name like that!" Then I realized that it might be a Vietnamese place--and it is--which makes the name slightly less painful. FULL REVIEW
