Bistro Beaux

Take a little break from NY. ^_^ Back to Bistro Beaux, the western style Izakaya. Again wish there were more people so we could order more! Same as last time, we got the Baked Oyster with white sauce and Mushroom with Uni. In addition we also got Beef Takaki salad and Squid Risotto. Both are very good, especially the Squid risotto, though it's definitely not a dish to get if you're on a date because your lips and teeth get stained ^^;;; Forgot the exact name of the dessert, it's some sort of frozen coconut flan thing. All the stuffs we got are the heavy type so afterward I felt a little sick from eating too much! Next time make sure get more salad or soup type stuffs for balance. FULL REVIEW

Saw an ad of this place on a Japanese free paper which seems interesting (nice colorful pictures) ^^;; Wanted to try it but it's all the way out at Torrance, and it's only open for dinner. So last weekend we made an effort to go there. There're so many interesting sounding dishes on the menu! Too bad there were only two of us so we couldn't try more as our stomach wouldn't be able to handle the load. Next time we should gather a group. FULL REVIEW
