Let you in on a little secret. Okay, you know how everyone goes to Millie's for food when they wake up from being hungover? And how the place is packed and you have to wait forever for seating? Well here's the simple secret why I have yet to wait for a spot Millie's... go for breakfast. I mean breakfast breakfast hours not late breakfast... we're NOT talking 7:30am here, just get there before 10:30am and you probably won't have to even wait a minute. Finally try Millie's, a run-down neighbourhood favorites that's known for their brunch. The Huevos Rancheros is good but I wish I got the Usual: sausages, potatos, french toasts and eggs instead! The french toasts are absolutely heavenly~~ Though the coffee mug was a bit icky in condition, the rimmed was all scratched and worn out....icckkk. Reminds me of "dai pai dong" at Hong Kong. ^^;; Their menu seems like just standard breakfast fare. I'm a little surprised that their food is not that cheap though. The food is pretty much same price range as chichi places (at i.e. Larchmont/WeHo/Venice). I also noticed the absence of dogs, an usual annoyance at most Silver lake and Los Feliz cafes on the weekends.
