The 6 Freeway Marathon

2, 5, 10, 101, 134, 710. No, they're not this week's winning lottery numbers. They're the numbers of the freeways on which we drove Saturday for the 6 Freeway Food Marathon. Coming from different parts of LA, we met up at Tacos Baja Ensenada on Whittier Blvd (which is Route 72 for those who are counting). The bright green and yellow building invitingly offers the start of the marathon. We order two tacos each: one fish and one shrimp. We grab large fresh peppers and eagerly await our number to be called. The fish, shrimp and veggies are on display to prove their freshness. When LA magazines rates your fish tacos as the best fish tacos in LA, you have a lot to live up to. So I decided to see if Tacos Baja lived up to the hype. Well let me tell you it does. This is one of the best fish tacos I've ever had. The only better fish taco I've had, was at Wahoos. Ok, I was only kidding. The only better fish taco was in FULL REVIEW

Getting It Done: Tacos Baja Ensenada

Being as much of a scatterbrain multitasker as I am, I pretty much rely on the To-Do List to organize everything that's going on in my life, both professionally and personally. For example, my pre-weekend planning routine always consists of a list, jotted down in the little notebook that I always keep in my purse, that somehow never deviates much from the following: 1. Go to Trader Joes 2. Go to 99 Ranch 3. Go to California Market 4. Go to Target 5. Go to Costco 6. Clean 7. Do laundry 8. Figure out what to eat And then within each of those tasks lies a sublist of things I need to get or do. You get the picture. Pretty boring, huh? FULL REVIEW
