Took me forever to get this to you. It's been on my to do lists for what seems like forever. In LA, I think there are few people who don't enjoy their occasional sweets even if they happen to be diabetic! That being said, we have some of the best places to treat that sweetness attack. What's great is we have something that caters to whatever your addiction demands weather it be more of a dairy type thing with MILK, or maybe cupcakes are your thing, See's Candies are all over the freaking place or high end confections can be found at places like... The last time I went to Susina Bakery, it was still called Sugarplum Bakery, and I had an outrageously good quiche that I still use as a measuring stick against all other quiche in L.A. Tonight, I wasn't craving quiche, but rather cookies and cake, so we set off on the short drive to Beverly and La Brea. FULL REVIEW

I've been to this bakery when it was just opened few years ago and was called Sugarplum. Somehow it's changed to Susina. Since then I rarely went back as it's where Joan's company always get their birthday cakes and cookies (for client). They're very good but after many times of the same thing...err... FULL REVIEW

Situated right next to a Starbucks coffee, Susina Bakery may seem to have some competition. But Susina is no competition for a franchise. FULL REVIEW
