Camera in the Kitchen: brgr

From the restaurant's hip design and web 2.0-esque name, brgr gives the impression that it churns out especially tasty burgers. Why else would they go through the trouble of creating a cool space for their vowel-less star creation and be able to charge $8 or more per bun-hugged patty if the food weren't awesome? FULL REVIEW

My first long overdue post is about Brgr, which I had the pleasure to preview at the Taste of New York event last November. I was wowed by their "#3" burger-- the one with the roquefort, bacon, sweet onion marmelade and usual fixins, and had been keeping tabs on the place, eagerly awaiting its opening. FULL REVIEW

When you're hungry, you tend to forget that your stomach will reach that point of over-satiated-ness. You know, when you feel like your stomach has expanded to reach your throat or that you're well into the gestation period with a new baby bolus. Dim sum looks manageable with its wide variety of enticing, cute little plates holding cute little portions, but those dishes hold lies. LIIIES! Tasty steamed, fried, baked, and sauteed lies.
