Just went here last thurs, enjoyed the alaskan king salmon, which comes with " 2" which means you can pick two of their sides: get the grilled eggplant with their mashed parsnips. BOY OH BOY!!! Also, they serve a standout Goat Cheese Brulee with cantaloupe, leeks, radish sprouts, raspberry vinaigrette. MMMmmmMM. Only problem was the noise level since it's a small popular place. can't even hear yourself. but the food is well worth it where ambiance lacks.

When Salt opened, I believe 6 years ago, we went. I forgot what it was I liked and didn't like since so much time has passed. We were at the high school play this weekend so I booked a restaurant... FULL REVIEW

We made a late (10:30pm) reservation and, getting out of the NYC Ballet (Sleeping Beauty...it was excellent) around 10:35, I immediately called to let them know we were running late. FULL REVIEW

Our regular dining companions, Sue Anne and Doug are getting married in a week - finally, I mean "Hooray!" :) and so with that comes bachelor and bachelorette parties. Doug's bachelor party actually happened earlier, but we'll get to that in another post as it has a lot to do with food FULL REVIEW

Swimster and I had been meaning to get together with his two friends from college for months. The two are engaged and set to marry right here in the Big Apple in June, and Swimster actually had a hand in introducing them to each other. The couple, without ever having met them, was nice enough to invite me to their engagement party at Megu back in December. And since meeting them that night, the four of us have been trying to schedule a dinner. Three months later it actually happened. Funny how this city works FULL REVIEW
