Sausage and Peppers from the Crosby Connection

Various folks (Robyn included) have been singing the praises of Crosby Connection, the microscopic sandwich stall that is perched at the top of the eponymous street in NoHo. Despite its relative proximity to my workplace, I had never gone over there until today, but, feeling a little bored with my sandwich options in the near proximity, elected to take a stroll down Houston Street and soak up some cool breeze and sun. Nothing prepared me fore how small this place was. I could tell you that this place is literally a guy making sandwiches in a closet and it still wouldn't really prepare you. Last Wednesday I split a 12-slice cake from Financier with Nick in exchange for a guitar pedal. As gluttonous as I am, you might be surprised to learn that I've never split a full-sized cake before.
