I had dinner at Sparks Steakhouse in late January. I was not impressd. The décor and servers come straight out of Central Casting. I suppose that somebody needs to act out the part of the cliché steakhouse, but because it’s a cliché there’s not a whole lot to distinguish it. FULL REVIEW

Definitely a restaurant for the alpha male...went to eat with my mom and Swimster, and felt like we were the only females in the joint. And the only ones who didn't show up in a black towncar. The decor reminds me of an old western saloon...thick plush red carpets, lots of mirrors and ornate glass dividers...very Disneyworld-esque. FULL REVIEW

Forget Peter Luger in Brooklyn. They don’t take credit cards anyway. Sparks will always be the best steakhouse for me in New York City. FULL REVIEW
