Bday meals, part 2: all organic at spring street natural

I initailly had no idea that Spring Street Natural used only organic ingredients in their food; although, the name “natural” should’ve been a big hint. I’ve walked by this place many times during my weekly trips to Soho, but I’ve never eaten here. FULL REVIEW

Spring Street Shuffle

Not too far north from Little Italy is Spring Street and there are several bars along this little stretch. I don’t know whether I have hit them all but I will be back tomorrow to see what I missed. Spring Street doesn’t run the whole width of Manhattan and where it ends kind of marks the beginning of what is now know as the Lower East Side. I know there are bars over there, I have already been to some of them. Fertile area in this neck of the woods. FULL REVIEW

You could argue that both the mood and the season are wrong just now to open a restaurant that specializes in truffles. It's hardly a truffle-and-caviar economy and summer truffles are generally the also-rans in the fungus world. FULL REVIEW
