Decibel Sake Bar East Village New York

If you recall a few weeks ago I went out for some horrible Indian Food on 1st Ave. After feeling a little sick that night we decided to head out for a drink. On East 9th and St Mark’s between 2nd and 3rd avenue is a small cluster of Japanese restaurants and bars sometimes referred to as Little Tokyo. As you’re walking along the south side of East 9th across the street from Soba Ya you’ll spy a tiny little sign off of the sidewalk for the Decibel Sake Bar and restaurant. Decibel is a hidden subterranean speakeasy bar that’s really easy to miss. You basically descend the stairs below street level and enter into a dark, wooden interior with red paper lanterns, and shelves of Japanese collectibles. FULL REVIEW
