M.Y.O.B. shouldn’t be an acronym flitting through your mind while dining. I was off put and on edge during nearly my entire meal at Dressler and it had nothing to do with the food or service. Sometimes context is everything.... FULL REVIEW

Frank Bruni raised eyebrows in June, when he awarded two stars to Dressler, a Williamsburg newcomer that—from the description—seemed to be simply a solid neighborhood restaurant. Whether it deserved those stars I’ll get to in a moment. But Bruni put Dressler on my radar screen (and apparently lots of other people’s), and last night I finally got to see for myself what the fuss was about. FULL REVIEW

Neither stuffy, nor hipstery, Dressler fills a void in Williamsburg's restaurant scene. It's on the burgeoning South Side of the neighborhood-- right off the Williamsburg Bridge and a few blocks from the J/ M/ Z or a 10-15 minute walk (or short bus ride) from the Bedford subway stop. FULL REVIEW
