A graceful vegetarian haunt successful enough to have spawned 2 locations - one in the west village, the other on the upper east side. Decorated with clean lines and pristine bamboo, Gobo is clearly upscale - as are its prices (averaging from $8 - $18 per plate.) FULL REVIEW

In my many travels around the city, I have built a mental catalogue of places that look like places I should someday visit. There's an Italian place on Bleeker street, the Indian restaurant around the block from where I live, and GoBo--"Food For The Five Senses"--on 6th Avenue near NYU. FULL REVIEW
