Brooklyn Diner definitely does breakfast right (or brunch, depending on what you want to call it). I ordered the "60/30/10 Omelette", which was an omelette made from egg whites and Vermont cream cheese, topped with smoked salmon and accompanied with a bagel on the side. I'm still not sure what the numbers in the name referred to, but the dish was definitely tasty. I figured you couldn't go wrong with smoked salmon! Strawberry Blonde Cheesecakes Have More Fun, Especially at The Brooklyn Diner
I almost forgot to mention that after the Indian meal and after the reading Patty and I went for coffee and dessert at The Brooklyn Diner. You know my parents really like The Brooklyn Diner: it's on 57th Street and the food there is really good, I gotta say. Plus the service is really attentive, the decor is kitschy and my brother got a picture with Tony Bennet there once.

When a friend requested meeting up, and I had no nights available, I asked if breakfast would work, and so glad it did! Working in midtown I wanted to find somewhere quick and convenient, and when I saw the lighted signs screaming "Brooklyn Diner" on 57th, decided to give it a shot.
