We had dinner at our favorite sushi place in the city, Ariake. It was very fresh and very good, as always. I don't remember how much the individual items were, but there were three of us and the meal ended up costing about $55 per person (including beer and sake). FULL REVIEW

Ariake's is our favorite sushi place in San Francisco, and well worth the trip considering it is a bit out of the way. The fish is always incredibly fresh. The total, including sake, came to $40 per person. FULL REVIEW

Lunch at Ariake

Ariake is my favorite sushi joint in the city. Sushi Chef Jin serves up the freshest fish at a reasonable cost. The decor is simple, befitting its place as a neighborhood restaurant in its (a bit-out-of-way) Richmond location. If I'm coming with a big group, I'll ask Jin to serve up 'whatever is fresh' at half portions (so one piece of nigiri instead of two per person). Today, however it was just us, so I ordered some of my favorites, for a total of about $60. FULL REVIEW
