ok i go to the arinell pizza in berkeley. its good authentic ny pizza. i lived in ny and drove a taxi there, so i am an expert. good thin crusted pizza is hard to find in california, as is thick crusted personalities. not as good as the best ny pizza but this is pretty good. they do the best they can given the water here. my doctor says i gotta cut down on pizza cause of my cholestoral count. he says its like eating a plateful o' fat. so eat modestly and get plenty o' excercise. recommended side dish-a co

The debate about which type of pizza reigns supreme, New York thin crust vs. Chicago deep dish, is an old and tired one; in fact, it’s thought to date back to the Neanderthals. Equally tired is the assault on the pitiful and deplorable state of pizza quality in California, constantly raised by displaced East Coasters, who (we’d like to note) nonetheless chose to give up the superior pies of their native homeland to move to a state with other important attributes, such as decent weather. I'm not sure, but I think everyone likes pizza. Everyone may not EAT pizza, but you bet your sweet ass that they like it. People like it so much, that they continue to eat it, even when it's shitty. Like most of the pizza here in Northern California. FULL REVIEW

Almost 30 years in business, Arinell Pizza must be something right. With a tiny pizzeria in the Mission district, most likely a late night favorite among the bar/club goers who frequent the bustling nightlife. FULL REVIEW
