After partying a bit too hard the previous night, we needed something a little more hardy than our standard bacon and egg to soak up the remaining alcohol still sloshing in our stomachs. We decided to pick up some low carb bagels on the way to work for a change of pace... Everything Low Carb Bagel with Lox Spread, Tomato and Onion $3.50 Not too bad for a low carb baked good. The spread was also plentiful, which was much appreciated. Everything Low Carb Lox Bagel with the Works $6.50 Hearty, and tasty.

I was in the city today with my oldest son, Patrick, to do some research at Mission Dolores for a 4th grade project. We finished up a bit early this morning and walked around looking for a suitable place to eat. We passed many thai and sushi places but alas these would not do for a 4th grader, but the big bagel shooting out of the side of the building drew our attention from quite aways down the block. We scanned the menu, the stuff here looked good - but were foiled by a lack of cash. Sadly they only accept cash. Luckily a few doors down (on the next block) was an ATM at the market. A few minutes later, we were standing in Katz once again. It was 11am on a Saturday and this place was packed. Half of the people were getting a breakfast bagel, and the other half a lunch bagel sandwich (like us).
