The quiche from the other day was so rich we couldn't eat it twice in a row. We went to a slightly better than average by-the-pound salad and hot food bar. It was ok. We probably won't go there again soon. Also, oddly, the floor was shaking as we were eating and there was not earthquake going on. It was unnerving and annoying. FULL REVIEW

Giao tried this downtown salad bar/buffet line that we'd walked by many times. He describes it as all pretty mediocre. The whole plate same to about $13, which is rather expensive for mediocre food. FULL REVIEW

I hate my lunchtime choices. I have the option of pricey chow at the Ferry Building, a long hike to decent places like The Toaster Oven or Cafe Madeleine, or an endless variey of cheerless crap right at my doorstep. FULL REVIEW
